Sheffield Forgemasters has officially applied for membership of the Organisation of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) to support our ongoing commitment to UK-Canada civil nuclear collaboration.

With more than 75 years of experience in the nuclear industry, Sheffield Forgemasters has delivered some of the world’s most technically challenging cast and forged nuclear components, including critical parts for fusion power exploration and the development of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).

The OCNI represents more than 250 leading suppliers in Canada’s nuclear industry, and since its foundation in 1979, the organisation has been instrumental in advancing the Canadian nuclear supply chain, championing the development of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and promoting high-quality nuclear technologies.

This exciting partnership will aim to support the delivery of clean, reliable energy, enable the sharing of expertise in manufacturing safe, high-integrity components and increase opportunities to drive innovation and promote sustainability across the nuclear industry.
