Sheffield Forgemasters remembers the fallen
Published: 11 November 2014Employees at Sheffield Forgemasters remembered the fallen at the company’s annual Remembrance tribute.
It was delivered by Sheffield Forgemasters' Chaplain Ruth Crowley at the entrance to Gate One on Brightside Lane.
Poppy wreathes were laid by Melt Shop planning and supplies manager Chris Sykes, Steel Propeller apprentice welder Charlie Laycock and PA to Forge operations director Becky Broxholme.
Chief Executive Graham Honeyman said: “It was wonderful to see staff turn out for this year’s Remembrance service. It was a moving ceremony which paid homage to those who have fought for our country’s freedom – both in conflicts of the past and in the wars of today.”
