Sheffield Forgemasters' Senior Development Engineer, Dr. Michael Blackmore, will be delivering a talk on 'The importance of chemistry control in high integrity forgings for demanding applications'.

The talk is being delivered as part of Sheffield Forgemaster's involvement with the Society of Chemical Industry and takes place at the The Law Society's Hall, 113 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1PL from 18:00 on the 30th October 2019.

Highlighting the role of chemistry on steel behaviour and detailed aspects of how this is controlled. The talk will also reveal case studies detailing how chemistry can be manipulated to meet customer needs. Also showing current research and development programmes running to address future market requirements.
