Our state of the art machining facilities offer rough and finish machining as well as specialist services such as cladding and liner fitting.
Our facilities include a vast array of milling, turning, boring and finishing machinery including the UK’s largest Vertical Turning Lathe and Horizontal Floor Borer. Cast steel and forged steel components can be supplied rough or finish precision machined to high tolerances using a range of steel grades inclusing carbon, alloy and stainless.
Our state of the art machining facilities contain some of the largest and most capable Numerical Controled (NC) and Computerised Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines in the World with capability of up to 400 tonnes in weight.
There are 6 cranes with a maximum weight of 400 tonne and a maximum height 8.34 metres.
Our advanced machinery capabilities means that we are able to offer small up to ultra-large steel components finished to exacting tolerances. This includes ultra-complex shapes such as reactor heads for nuclear applications.
Where required we are able to supply components in a rough machined state. This allows finish machining to be carried out on other sites, in other countries or by third parties and suppliers.
