Sheffield Forgemasters Engineering Ltd produces critical cast components for various defence areas including large A-brackets and ships rudder horns for surface ships, torpedo tubes, hull penetrations and valves for the Astute class nuclear submarines.

The company is an approved supplier of high strength NQ1 and HY steel grades required by the Royal Navy and US Navy and can also provide various forms of weld cladding, finish machining and pressure testing where required.

It has a long history of supplying forged mechanical equipment to the armed forces.
