Steel grades
Sheffield Forgemaster's steel making facilities allow the production of extremely clean steel with very low levels of residuals. This means high-integrity components with assured mechanical properties can be manufactured.
Steel grades produced include:
- British standards - BS 3100 A1
- German standards - GS20Mn5, GS20MnCrMoNi55, GS42CrMo4
- American standards - ASTM A148 90/60
- Military standards - HY80 & HY100, NQ1 & NQ2
- Proprietary offshore grades - CSN300, CSN400
